Unbalanced sleeping habit

Last week was a very busy week for me, projects to do + stupid hotels to book, i ended up going to bed almost at 2 every night and woke up at 7, sometimes 8. So when the weekend came, i took the my chance to wake up late. But now i know that this is a very bad habit, it harms your body, so please, don't try this at home!! WHY?

Saturday morning, i woke up at 11 a.m. after sleeping for 10 hours. Result : headache for 1 whole day.

This morning, i woke up at 10.30 am, also after sleeping for 10 hrs. Result : neck pain. At first it wasn't so serious, but i was crazy and went to play basketball. Shit, now i can't even turn my neck.

Moral of the story : have a more regular sleeping habit.

P.S.: But WTF, compared to many people this is quite regular already!!!

刚从巴黎回来，完成了一趟虽有点小累但充满欢笑的“雷之旅” 。这一次除了玩，还做了中马文化交流，实在是获益良多啊！

何谓“雷” ?

雷：在你不知情的情况下看到某种令人惊讶的事物，感觉犹如“被雷击中”一样。在现代的网络语言中，“雷”就是你在不知情的情况下，无意中看了自己不喜欢的东西，就会感觉不舒服。（百度百科）

在马来西亚，这种情况可以“炸到”来解释。

当然这个旅程会有这个名字都得归功于我们的天同学与天予哥。这两个雷人让我深刻了解到雷的意思。早从天同学口中听过天予哥的大名，说她是个大雷人，但我说天同学，你也别五十步笑百步。在Le Mans转车前一切还正常，但当天予踏入前往巴黎的火车那一刹那，一切都变了。我原本以为文静的卉梓小姐突然狂野了起来，吓了我一跳，“雷之旅”从这一刻开始。和天予一起的健哥则只跟我们说了声“嗨”就一个人坐在旁边，完全就不跟天予一样口水滔滔。

到了巴黎，在Quick Burger解决午餐时，我不小心说错了话，原来在中国看韩剧的人都被形容为脑残，就这样我因为偶尔看看韩剧被他们恶整了两天。卉梓的一句“韩剧都是大婶吃饱后看的”更让我好没面子，既然那我跟跟大婶比。。。

在酒店check in后，我们就前往第一目的地：Basilique de Sacré Coeur。我们在此见识到了天同学那师奶杀手无可抵挡的魅力。首先是替我们指路的大婶，后来是要天同学拍照的纽西兰籍妇女。天同学与生俱来的魅力真叫众人羡慕啊！在此地我也得到了“小马”这个称号，来源就是天予哥的一句“从马来西亚来的”。哇靠，我的名字那么好记天予哥既然记不了,搞什么嘛！天同学偷拍女孩细腿的是我就不提了吧。

为了成全卉梓夜游巴黎的愿望，我们来到了埃菲尔铁塔。在塔四周拍了照后，我们登上了船，夜游River Seine。虽然来了巴黎无数次，但这是我第一次搭这船，也算是新体验啦。在船上的一个小时让我见证了巴黎的夜景果然是漂亮的，而且不时还可以看到情侣们在河边亲热，难怪人家都说巴黎浪漫。

下了船，大家又冷又饿。这是朱哥建议我们去吃“Pho”，其实就是Malaysia 的牛肉粉啦，越南人开的。吃饱后不知怎么天同学突然high起来，变身成为超级大雷人。又不知怎么搞的卉梓跟天这小两口无缘无故帮我跟天予牵起红线。而沉默不语的健哥也终于露出狐狸尾巴，原来是个情场杀手，还给我什么鬼主意，叫我在中国，马来西亚跟法国各交一个女朋友。回酒店的路途不是很顺利，迷了路，但还好大家都好high，虽然走了些路，但最后还是找到了酒店。回到酒店当然不能马上睡，天同学继续在那儿雷，又唱又跳，又摇又摆，好不快乐。朱哥干的可好了，把天同学得瑟的证据都录了下来。

第二天早上，也就是今早啦，我们到了Château de Versailles，就是法国Louis XIV国王的皇宫。排队的人多的可以，一边排队，一边聊天，我好像听到他们说什么“非猪六”的，好学的我就发问啦，原来他们说的是“非主流”(意思Google找吧)。学了当然得用啦，我就和天同学拍了些超非猪六的照片，什么猥亵的动作都摆了。靠！什么形象也没咯！皇宫的后花园真的很大也很漂亮，无聊的我们也继续雷加非猪六，还学人家拍什么Mr and Mrs Smith。。。

四点整，我们在Paris Montparnasse跟天予还有健哥分手，踏上回家的旅程，回程中看回所有又雷又非猪六的video和照片，真是笑翻了！

救狗大行动

昨天吃饱回到宿舍的停车场，一打开车门，一只狗向我们跑过来。Valentin见了就过去和它玩。那只狗瘦骨如柴，颈项被一条红色绳子绑着，肚子也凹了进去，因该是很多天没吃东西了。

我说法国人就是爱护动物，假如是在Malaysia我看很多人睬那只狗都傻，但是Valentin坚持不可就这样不管它，那我也只好一起做好人咯。二话不说他就打电话给他妈，他妈叫他检查看狗狗耳朵有没有晶片，什么品种，等等等。。。最后，他妈叫我们把狗送到动物保护中心。

但在那之前，Valentin先把狗带回家，弄了一餐给那只狗吃。那么有爱心的我当然也有帮忙准备啦。Valentin还不知搞什么，一直要帮狗取名字。中engineer毒，连取名都不象样，我们帮那只狗取名为CATIA。我看CATIA真的饿坏了，三两下就把食物吃完，而且好像还不够。
吃饱后是时候把CATIA送到收留所了。但是一到楼下CATIA可能是刚吃饱，精力旺盛，拒绝上车而跑到宿舍旁的丛林。追了半天，Valentin终于把CATIA抓住，放到车里。谁知到了动物保护中心，星期天居然没开，完蛋了！现在是学校假期，Valentin马上就要驾车回家，而我嘛，要去Paris，就算不去要我养条狗也是不可能的事。

回到宿舍停车场，当我们还在想办法的时候，一对夫妇经过，CATIA既然跟人家跑了。但是我们很确定它那对夫妇不是它的主人，因为他们以为是我们的狗，但为何跟着他们。Valentin试着追过去要抓它回来，但是他已跑的无影无踪了。算了，办法也不必想了。。。CATIA啊CATIA，祝你好运了。

麻辣女教师

Thermal Science老师病了，在巴黎分校的女老师来代课。下午一踏进教室就觉得奇怪，我平常坐的第二排座位被一群平常只挤在后排的家伙霸占了。这时的我还不知发生什么事。

两点正，当一位长得蛮不错的女教师踏入教室我才恍然大悟，为何那群野兽争着坐第二排！身在以机械为主修的工程学校，班上的女生已经少的可以，老师又都是男人，也难怪这群禽兽。

一开始这名麻辣女教师介绍了自己，当她说自己只代一堂课时，突然引起班上一阵喧哗。但是说真的，这是我在ESTACA三年以来最有视觉享受的一堂课，而且注意力十足，不会打瞌睡。

咳，好景不长，她只代一堂课，之后我们又得吃斋咯。

Rubik's cube

Bought a Rubik's cube 3 days ago due to influence of my brother when i went back to malaysia last summer. He managed to solve a cube with an average time of 40 s and a record of 30+ s. The world record is less than 8 s!! Crazy!!

Actually it's not as complicated as u think. To solve a cube, as a beginner, you can learn the beginner algorithm which in available in Rubik's official website. It enables you to solve a cube easily. I learn it and with some practice, i managed to solve a cube in 3 min. However with this beginner method you can hardly achieve an excellent time.

Kinda addicted to it now, i'll try to learn a more advance algorithm to solve the cube in less time. Still not quite sure about how the advance method works, but i think it means more patterns to remember and so more steps to memorise according to each pattern. Don't think i'll have time to explore it now, so need to wait until the hols at the end of this month.

3rd Year

Started my 1st class of my 3rd year on Monday. 1st impression : it is gonna be quite different from the 2 previous years, since we have some "weird" and absolutely new classes to teach you how to become an engineer (in transport sector especially). The procedure to develop a new project, searching for solutions, clients' satisfaction etc etc... Now i have a better idea of what an engineer does, not easy it seems!

I had a class called "Methodes Numériques" in French, which is something to do with methods of solving mathematical problems using the computer. The 1st thing we learnt today was Matrices. What do you see from the position of the professor in a lecture hall? Answer given by the prof was : a Matrix o.O" LOL!! I think the prof has 走火入魔 already...

等火车记

搭了三架飞机,经历了整24小时的飞行加等候,我终于抵达法国了。
这次回去真的是有史以来最累的一次,幸好老天保佑,再累也熬回法国了。
但是旅程还没有结束,1点半抵达机场,但是由于我住的地方狗不拉屎,鸟不生蛋,一天只有一趟火车从机场去那儿,我只好在机场等到6点25分。
回到这里的第一餐就是MCD,因为要找个可以呆久又可以online的地方。虽然刚下飞机加上累过头没什么胃口，也只好将就将就，吃一个Mac Chicken set，将就可以online咯。
好期待晚上冲好凉，躺在床上睡觉，因为现在的我只差没有用两根牙签撑着眼皮罢了。最惨的是明天好像没课，但是我还是得早起去学校报到，谁叫我ponteng了三天。。。
咳，火车啊，你快来！

等飞机记

在KLIA写blog,没试过吧!
这次回法国因为之前换票的原因被逼在KLIA等6个多小时,傍晚7点半到KLIA,早上2点的飞机,一个字 - '显'。
还好，时间过得蛮快的,KLIA有免费的WIFI,让我还可以online一下。
11点才可以check in，但是谁知道KLIA的internet不可以上MSN！幸亏有一种叫eBuddy的东西，让我跟朋友还有弟弟聊了聊，过时间。
现在check in了，悠闲的坐在候机室，因为没事干，所以随便写写。
不知道是不是因为刚才吃KFC的关系（在法国没得吃，回来那么久却没去吃到，所以心血来潮），口渴得可以。去买水被砍，在我手上的这瓶水RM12！！算了啦,给他。

但是KLIA的缺点就是没有插座让我charge电脑，现在没电了，只好停咯。

Merdeka!

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! What a nice Merdeka weekend (although tiring like hell).
A lot of friends came back to JB for the what i call Merdeka Gathering.
Saturday morning we played basketball. Although I've got a knee injury, most probably lateral meniscus tear, i joined as a vase. What a great sportsmanship i have.
After lunch we went "Bang Bang" (a new verb created by dunno who, meaning go CC).
CS + L4D until stars spinning in front of our eyes, it's time to prepare for our BBQ.
Of course our night didn't end like that: football in front of Alik's hse + Man Utd vs Arsenal + Mahjong.

The next morning, we went to SIA to bid farewell to our beloved Yixian who doesn't want to come back Malaysia anymore. Breakfast in Vivo City. Without much energy left, we decided to go back. Nightmare for Ah Kok who drove at the super jammed Custom, for he didn't eat that morning, he was puasaing and he didn't sleep the night b4. Ah Kok you're our Hero!!!

After reaching JB, dunno which SOHAI suggested to go "Bang Bang" again...
In the evening, after struggling against tiredness for some time in Alik's hse, we went to Leisure Mall. Initial plan was to plan Bowling, but another sohai suggested to go cinema. Kung Fu Cyborg represented by TTY and District 9 represented by Wee Howe, they played scissors paper stone. TTY won. Inside the cinema, u can only hear Wee Howe, Ah Beh and TTY cursing with any vulgar word you can imagine. BTW i quite enjoyed the film, at least it made us laugh until stomach ache.

Enjoyable weekend, thanks to Hari Merdeka. Malaysia Boleh!!!

Primary school classmates

After so many years, i finally found back some of my long lost primary school classmates. It's not very difficult since my class only had less than 20 pupils. HAHA. But since we did not have hp and email at that time, keeping in touch becomes a big problem. Just a few days ago, a friend suddenly added me on MSN? Hui Hui? Is she the Hui Hui that i knew in primary school? I wondered...It was quite surprising and guess what, she's getting married soon. Congratulations to her.

We chatted then we decided to find more friends and do a gathering after 1...2...10 years!!! I went to a Zhi Hao's house, a good friend of mine, this evening, he used to live there and i just gave a try. Lucky^^ Same evening, we managed to find another girl, thanks to the tips given by Zhi Hao's mum. 9 people including me, not too bad isn't it? Can already do the gathering. We still have some clues and we hope to find at least 2 more friends.

Time flies, 10 years have gone. If i cross with one of my primary classmates on the road, i might not be able to recognize him or her. Since i goyang kaki at home everyday, i'll try to advance in this PSC searching operation. Haha

Bourget Museum of Air and Space

I followed a trip to the Bourget Museum of Air and Space in Paris last Friday. This trip was organized by school only for students who do aeronautics, sorry for those doing automotive and railway transport.

Since this year's 2nd semester, we have started a class called technologies of aeronautics and one of the 1st things we've seen was history of aeronautics. So basically we have already seen most of the exposed items in the museum in the class, but this visit allowed us to have a really close look on everything we have learned.

Behind of me is a Boeing 747, it's one of the first jumbo civil aircrafts back in the 70's until now. The inside of this plane is modified and we can see the structure of the 747. It was just too bad that the A380, which is today's largest civil aircraft by Airbus, was not exposed in the museum, cause it's new. But the Americans were able to build this back in the 60's, salute.
Here you see some earlier french fighter aircrafts. The one with a big air inlet(the large hole) at the bottom is a Griffon II equipped with a ramjet (statoréacteur), it has broken the world record to achieve the speed of Mach 1.85 in 1957!

This thing actually flies!!!
Here are some replicas of the earliest aircrafts, even though some of them failed, but it's amazing to see how people in the past tried to fly in the sky. The flying ship at the front has a pair of wing like birds, while the one at the back if you can see has wings like a bat.

This is another interesting one, cause it uses the principe of bird's feathers.
Everyone knows the Wright brothers and everyone knows that they're Americans. But do you know that they actually acheived their success in France? Their 1st success in America was not appreciated by the authorities, and so they came to France and made another plane, which has successfully taken off. And from here onwards they get their fame to be the inventors of airplane. This is the replica of the plane which give them such a fame in France.

And of course how can you forget this magnificent concorde. The Bourget mesuem is the only place where you can see 2 concorde side by side in the world. I think you cant see the other one beside. It's a supersonic civil airliner. How fast it is? It can make a journey from Paris to New York in 3 hrs, which normally take 8 hrs! But it has been ceased from service 24 Oct 2003, after the an accident and several world problems.

This visit was definitely an extraordinary one, even though the journey to and back from Paris was a little bit time consuming and tiring. Now I just wanna sing "I BELIEVE I CAN FLY"...

How long can a chicken lives without his head? 1 minute? 1 hour?

The other day i was discussing about this with friends, which reminded me of an article which I've read somewhere about a chicken which has lived quite a long time, 1 year as in my memory, after having its head cut off. I told my friends but nobody believed in it and i just thought that I've come out with an absolute rubbish, how can a chicken live without its head.

This morning, i tried to search on Google "headless chicken", a lot of link appeared and among all there were a few related to "Mike The Headless Chicken". I clicked on it, it's exactly this Mike that I've read about, a rooster in Fruita, Colorado who lived for 18 months, longer than i expected, after its head had been cut off.

You even have Mike Festival every year to celebrate Mike's spirit. Interesting isn't it?

What i did last week

Monday - Returned to school after 2 weeks of Easter holidays. Hard to get up in the morning, hard to follow the lessons, wanted to sleep in class >_<"

Tuesday - Got back my Wave exam paper, 8.75/20 = failed, not more than 20% of students pass in this paper, too too disappointed. Internship presentation, luckily did quite well although i made a few grammar mistakes in French. got 16.5/20 for my report + presentation

Thursday - No class in the afternoon + good weather -> basketball

Friday - No class in the afternoon -> basketball, play against a 198cm friend, rebound = no way, he treated me a steamboat somemore. Renaud came to Laval, had dinner + movie session

Saturday - Laval Virtual exposition, saw a lot of Japanese's visual technology, they're unbeatable in this field. Managed to persuade those juniors to buy roller blades, hihi, now i have gang to practice d

假期真的很不错，悠闲自在
昨天在家玩DS玩了超过15个小时，颓废了一整天，眼睛也花了
早上六点半才睡，起床时下午1点半
下雨下了几天，今天难得有太阳，就心血来潮骑着脚车，背着我的roller blade去空地玩
遇见一个小鬼，大概八九岁，说要跟我赛脚车，但我没答应
我的脚车比他的大那么多，而且很危险
和他谈了两句，他也满可爱的，问我从哪儿来的

最近爱上了中国古乐和古乐器演的现代音乐
真的是中华文化的骄傲，完全能与西方古典媲美

The 1st week of my Easter holidays has over, really fast...
Went to Rennes, Saint Malo and Saint Michel with 2 good friends Wenshao and Kuah, had some fun but the weather wasn't good at all during the trip...

1 week left, need to make good use of this week to take a good rest 'cause after the holiday i'll have 2.5 quite tiring months, with the final exam before summer holidays...

Exam week

Finally the exam week is over, and I'm on holidays now
Happy? A little bit but not really
Cause when exam finish there's nothing left to do, life is like no goal
but i don't like exam time neither

I only started revise for the exam 3 days before the 1st subject
And i can tell you that last minute work really won't do
I was like racing with time everyday
It's horrible when you have so many things to study but so little time to do it
And this make me think back to the time in SSI
Things like this had never happened!
Need to change this bad habit, but can i?
It's easy to pick up a bad habit, but to correct it...

牙疼

四天前起我左边下方的大牙开始莫名其妙的感到疼痛，有时甚至半夜睡觉睡到一半被痛醒
还好家里还有止痛药，才减轻痛楚
但说也奇怪，因为目前为止我下方的牙都还没绑，而痛的不是被绑的牙
我能感觉到上面被绑的牙明显地移位，所以觉得应该是移位了的大牙的影响
忍无可忍，我在没预约的情况下去找我替我绑牙的牙医
检查后他说原因可能是上次跌倒的后遗症，所以叫我竟快去找我的牙医检查

过后我又用舌头摸摸，发现隔了一棵牙的位置的智慧牙变大了，这会不会就是罪魁祸首？
我的牙医下个星期的预约都排满了，只能等到后个星期一
靠，在那之前只能靠止痛药了 :(

I have a quite poor memory and am kinda busy these days (exam coming next week, but haven't started my revision, bravo!), so i've forgotten that 1 year and 3 days ago a blog was born to tell my life.

Poor memory, especially things like birthday, that's me. You can say that I'm not romantic, i don't mind. The total number of birthday i remember can be counted by 10 fingers, including mine. Or else i normally wish people their birthday if friendster or facebook remind me. I wonder how some others like Kaya(who is a gd example) can remember so many birthdays. Maybe that's why i think I'm correct not to choose law as i wanted to. So do forgive me if i forget your birthday:p

Stupid but scary virus

1 whole day gone thanks to the stupid virus+spyware+adware hidden in a software i downloaded. It kept sending pop-ups until finally i couldn't even open my Firefox. That's not all, when started, the computer took 5 times longer to get ready, and took 10 years to execute a program.

I tried to run my anti-virus, the result was 34 harmful items detected, but some just couldn't be deleted. So i downloaded avast anti-virus from internet, which is free, and finally managed to delete most of the virus(i think). But what the hell, it was the same, the computer performance just didn't return to normal. Maybe a "massive destruction" was already done inside my com!

No choice, reformat. At first i didn't know that it was because of the software, 'cause i thought it was from the internet, so i tried to install the software again. WTH, pop-up appeared immediately and at that moment i only realized that everything was because of this fking software. Did a system restore to an earlier point, so far the problem is solved(i hope). The virus nowadays are so damned scary, beware when u download things or surf the net.

上个礼拜超忙的，由于补课的关系，每天都上课上到六七点，根本不是人过的日子
回家后又累，就懒惰复习，导致有几堂课都ggl听不懂
好不容易等到周末，终于可以睡个够，赖赖床
GGL多功课得做，但是犬夜叉又一直在呼唤我
真是让我难做人
因为手心手背都是肉

今年的GALA（看30/3/08的post）我没去，不知为什么不怎么干兴趣
应该是去年受到刺激，看到很多辣妹跳舞，但有的看没的吃，干脆不看
又好像是因为去年去了回来累了个两三天
也好像由于我的好朋友们今年都不去
总之没去就对了
反正还有三年

1st Aeronautical Technology class

After one and a half year in ESTACA, i finally had my 1st Aeronautical Technology lesson. In the 1st 3 semesters, we were taught the basic knowledge needed, like fluid mechanics, mathematics, mechanics, electric...

Actually i was hesitating between automotive and aeronautic last time, because i was actually more interested by automotive, you can see it from my nickname EVO :P But i finally chose aeronautic because i thought it was more challenging and the market is wider. Plus i can always go into the automobile industry with my aeronautical knowledge, the reverse is more difficult. And the other thing is that France is one of the most advance country in this field, along with US and Germany. The Airbus that i believe most of you have taken is from France, hihi

It's a lesson that I'm waiting for, but fear of at the same time, because i know that a lot of new vocabularies will be introduced, in French of course, and that i might not be able to follow up the other classmates since most of those who choose aeronautic already have certain knowledge in this field, some by interest, some have passed their flying license etc. While me, I'm a noob!

The 1st lesson was kinda introduction, we saw different parts and different structures of an aircraft, the principle of flying an aircraft and the history of aviation. It was interesting, and i hope that i will always be. Through the history of aviation, i was amused by the its development in 100 years. The prof showed us the very first ideas of flying in the sky since the 1700s, sacrifices, tests and all kind of models made. Until the 17 December 1903, the Wright brothers have finally succeeded the first took off to the air. What a coincidence, because i was born exactly 84 years later, and is now studying aeronautic!

Anyway it's only the 1st lesson, let's hope the difficulty level won't increase exponentially so that i can have time to get used to it.

At 1st i thought my calculation was quite ok, but was shocked when the result came out was 57! Need to train my brain hard edy...If not karat later :P

Adieu à Renaud

C’est une dédicace spéciale à notre cher ami, Renaud - mon premier ami à l’ESTACA, mon voisin et mon « chauffer » pendant un an et demi. Il m’a sauvé une fois la vie, quand j’ai eu le pneumothorax l’année dernière (avec Clément bien sûr ^^), MERCI. Avec les autres, on a passé de bons moments ensemble, les apéros (même si Kaplan il ne buvait que du jus d’orange), le séjour en Bretagne etc…

Désintégration

Today is a special day in ESTACA. The "Désintégration" Day. If you remember i had 1 post about intégration day. Since that one is for the 1st years, you can guess that this 1 is for the 5th years for they are going to leave the shool. What did they do? They dressed up into some famous people, they disturbed all lessons, they danced, they played, they did all sorts of crazy things etc etc...

1st thing we got in the morning, a cock in the lecture hall. A real cock!! The funny thing is that the prof also made jokes and played with it...Then they entered the lecture hall, danced on the table, dirtied you with shaving mousse, made noises and so on. As french say, c'est du bordel(bordel = brothel). They came in during every lesson and when we heard them approach, everyone quickly keep their belongings to prevent them from being polluted by shaving mousse.

I was a bit frustrated when i got my head full of shaving cream, but later i got used to it, cause if you disobey them, you would get 10 times worse. And the profs played with them too. 1 of the prof even got his head full of shaving cream, suddenly attacked during his class.

One of the disguise i like most is the one with 2 Balls as you can see in the video. Guys, i think u can guess what it is :P

Hope my Désintégration Day will come soon, but i still have 1...2...3 years to go! Kinda long...

Failure

We have finally handed in our project on Thursday at 1300. It's not something to be proud of because we haven't finished the whole program and the result was not what we planned at first. I can only say that we were not very good in time management, if we were, we could have come out with something much more better. But the result wasn't that bad neither. We still have a presentation for the project next Thursday, we'll know the result after the presentation.

It's really a last minute work, i say it but I'm really shame of it. We had burnt the midnight oil until 5 am. Knowing that we had class at 8 am in the next morning, you can imagine i think. But we were not the only, many other friend did the same.

But we are not to be blamed, someone told me that even the professor later admitted that the problem was too difficult at our level. If you wonder what the problem is, we were suppose to write a program in C, which is a program destined for SNCF(French railway) to create train lines, and simulate the trains' movement. Easy eh...

Angoulême BD 2009

Last week was ESTACA ski week, but since I didn't go with sch, so i had kinda short break before the 2nd semester starts. Although there's a C programming project to finish, but i really had a break and enjoy myself during the week. Now it's time to worry about it....Gotta hand it up on Thursday :(

After coming back from Rennes for the CNY celebration, what i did was staying at home, relaxing, and do my project. It's actually quite enjoyable when you take your time to write the program and see the result of your program. But i don't think I'll enjoy it in the next few days as I'm running out of time :p
Then, i went back to my hometown in France - Angoulême because coincidently, the 36th Angoulême International Comic Festival was organised from Thursday to Sunday during this week. Two chinese friends, Du Jun and Ma Yi whom i helped to translate 2 years ago invited me to help them again this year. So between project and friends, i chose friends :D Moreover, they paid my expenses to Angoulême, so I was too shy to reject them.

My main function was to help them to do the translation between Chinese and French. It's a tough task, but I'm happy because I've finally done it and help them through the whole festival. Although my french level is still too low to do a perfect translation, i still got a lot of praises from those French artists and editors for my translation, especially when they knew that i was only a student who helped without being paid, kinda proud of it. I've learned a lot of things from this trip. Practicing my French is 1 thing. I also learned to do business, talking bout contract, buying copy rights etc. This trip also tells me that marketing might be my future path, 'cause i find it interesting and I have a powerful tool - languages. But of course I'll finish my engineering course in ESTACA first.

This year's festival is a little bit smaller than previous years, maybe because of the economic crisis. But still there were still a lot of people in Angoulême, I think we can only see this scene 4 days a year. Last night, almost all restaurants in Angoulême were full, we finally managed to find 1 after entering more than 6 full-house restaurants. those western comics don't interest me much, cause I'm more to japanese mangas. So i just simply looked around without buying any comic. But it's interesting too see different culture through comics from different country. Hmm, i think i can show you a kind of comic which is very popular in France, why show you? because you cant see it in Malaysia :P

Wohoo...It's Chinese New Year again. Kinda lucky this year cause i finished my exam the week before CNY and i don't have class on the week of CNY. But what a pity, cannot go back to celebrate it in Malaysia. Anyway, i went to Rennes on Friday and had a celebration with other malaysian friends there(although there were only 2 chineses LOL), had a great time.

Since i know everyone is busy collecting Ang Pau, so i also don't want to write too long and waste your time ^^

突然发现现在的我有倾向宅男的现象。Oh No!!!

“宅男”这个词是看我猜学来的，上我猜的宅男们个个怪的怪，邋遢的邋遢，傻的傻，还被吴忠宪羞辱。但那些已经是“level宅” 100 了，我还没有宅到那个地步。但难道有一天我会跟他们一样？靠，不敢想象。。。

为什么我会有这样一个发现？因为我具备几项宅男特点：
× 除了上课和周末去超市，很少踏出家门一步
× 不出门干什么？上网，看偶像剧，动画（除了偶尔读读书）
× 可以一整天呆在电脑前

其实我也不想当宅男，但在Laval出门也不知道干什么，而且外面又那么冷。
在家不干宅男干的事也不知道要干什么，所以我是被形势所逼。

我想我只能一直唱周董的“阳光宅男”来祈祷不会宅过头

I need SSI spirit!!!

Sometimes, when i think back, i wonder how i managed to study so much when i was in SSI. I remembered 1 month before SPM everyone was already "piah" like hell and i think i faced my books at least 10 hours a day. I don't know how many times i have run over the three 400+ page Fokus Physics, Biology and Chemistry. And how many essays in Chinese, English and BM I've written to improve my writing skills. How i managed to memorize those moral values with definitions without losing 1 word. Hundreds of mathematics exercises, 名句精华 etc. I'm really amazed by the amount of work that i've done to prepare my SPM. And lucky enough, i've got the result that i wished(Except 1119 which is a shame to me, but nvm, i don't use English nowadays lol).

Then when i look at myself now, i think i really have become a lot more lazier, well maybe not lazier, but just have lost the motivation that keep me study. First, there's no more goal like getting straight 1As or getting the JPA scholarship. You pass the exam and you pass your year and finally you graduate. I wouldn't say it's very easy to pass an exam in ESTACA, since I've already failed three papers before, but if I do my homework correctly and revise a minimum, i can still pass(touch wood, don't 好的不灵坏的灵).

Then, there's no more SSI's "kiasu" spirit. In SSI, you would wanna study when you see the others study. You feel guilty when you see the others are studying while you are fooling around, so what you do is you also follow them to study. And since there's a ranking of exam results, if you wanna get into top 10 then you need to study. But now, i don't really care about it, 'cause there is no ranking, so as long as i pass I'm happy already.

Last time in SSI, for my case, if I study hard i could always get the wanted result, but this is not the case in ESTACA. You can study very hard but there can be unexpected questions in the exams which you can never think of it. As a result, my heart also gets cold as time goes. I know that I'm no more in secondary school where everything follows the syllabus, in an engineering school like mine, as one of the heads in ESTACA said before, they want to form quality engineer and not engineer who can only recopy resolution method, so there are always unexpected questions which require reflexion.

Internet is the pricipal criminal. In secondary school time i didn't have my personal computer, and no broadband like i have today. It's really hard to study with my computer beside, but I've a very bad habit that is whenever I'm awake at home, my computer is always on, if you don't believe, you can see that my MSN and YM are signed in most of the time. What facebook la, blog la, youtube la, youkou la, these rubbish make me pass a lot of time in front of my PC rather than my books. Like now I've wasted another half an hour on this thing...

It has been very cold since last week in France, or maybe in Europe. Today, school reopens, when i stepped on the road in the morning, the road was frozen. It's super dangerous to drive in such condition, so Renaud gotta drive more slowly(i go to school in his car). We have had the car gliding on a little slope when he braked last time, it wasn't fun at all, unless u like drifting.

Afternoon, still very cold, 0°C at least, and it snowed in Laval, which is a real rare case. But it didn't last for long time, and the snow melted once touching the ground, the ground is now wet and with the temperature that we have now, i think i can ice-skate to school tomorrow morning =p

The temperature outside make me lazy to go out, i feel good to be at home with my heater on, but at the end of the month when i see my electricity bill, i'll cry :'(

New year has come, just have to admit that time passes really fast.

Had a little celebration last night with my fellow Malaysians in Laval. We went for dinner in a Japanese restaurant and we had some fireworks in the cold new year night. Luckily I'm not alone in Laval this year, or else it will be a lonely New Year which i have escaped by going to Toulouse last year.

Some people ask me what is my new year resolution, I've never thought of this, and i don't think I'm gonna think of it. 'Cause for me New Year day is just like the other days in a year, so there is no need to set what new year resolution. I just do what i think i need to do or what i wanna do. But this is just my opinion, I'm sure that these resolutions must have their own meaning to those who set them every year.

I take this opportunity to wish my family and all my friends Happy New Year and best wishes to all of you in 2009 :D

A wonderful ski tripWonderful moment

Wonderful moment always passes very fast. Our short ski trip has come to an end so quickly and suddenly. Kinda sad 2 say bye to Lik, Kaya and Daniel after this trip, 'cause dunno know when can we meet again and i gotta get back to work. The pleasure of meeting secondary schoolmate in France is really great. And guess what, we even met Julian, Benedict, Renhan and others on the 1st da in Paris, what a coincident isn't. Of course it's time to show off my French.

Day 1:
I took Lik and kaya around Paris since Daniel only arrived on the 2nd day, sorry for him 'cause he needed to skip class to join us. After checking in our hotel, it was already a bit late. We went to Arc de Triomphe and dat's where we met Benedict and others. We had dinner together and there we seperated since they were tired and wanted to go back to hotel instead of Eiffel Tower, our next destination. Eiffel was nice that night, blue in colour, of course, we took lotsa photos of it. But g up Eiffel with em wasn't romantic at all, LOL!
To save money, i've booked a hotel near Saint Denis, which is a bit far from the centre of Paris, 2nd last station by Metro line 13. Lol, my sense of direction isn't that good at night, so we kinda got lost in the way back to hotel after visiting Eiffel Tower. But luckily we reached the hotel safely at last.

Day 2:
We've got limited time in Paris 'cause we were going to set off to Bourg Saint Maurice that afternoon after Daniel's arrival. So we woke up early in the morning to get some time to visit the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur. Me myself i haven't visited the place b4, so i was a "discovering tour guide", lol. There was a gang of african guys in front of the Basilique, offering to tourists colour bands. If you go there next time, don't accept it, or else they'll ask you for money for the worthless bands. Of course we were smart enough to reject it, but i think if i were not there, Alik might get cheated, lol.The journey to Bourg Saint Maurice was kinda long, it took more than half a day. Poor Daniel gotta sit in the train for 1 whole day. Finally arrived in Bourg Saint Maurice, but a very funny incident happened.

Me : Daniel, what time the train arrives?
Dann : 8.20 gua...(A while later)How come the train is reversing?
Me : Changing direction? That's y it takes so long time.
A guy came. "Gentlemen, you have arrived."
Me : "What? arrived? But it's moving now, dont't tell me it' heading to the next destination!!!"
Luckily it was not, it's only heading to the train parking at the station. Fuf...Lucky...
I found a vrvr cheap hotel in Bourg Saint Maurice, of course, a bit far, around 1km from the train station. What to do? Walk lor. The others were complaining of course. Weren't you? Heh?

After settling down, super hungry, DINNER!!!
Have you tried sweating in -3°C? You will when you just have a snow war, haha.

Day 3:
Alik woke every1 up, 'cause he couldn't sleep. LOL...But suddenly,
Kaya : Soon Lee, you come and see if i got fever.
WTF, don't joke man, 1st day of ski n you got fever? But finally he managed to go ski with us, luckily. So the ski lessons started for Dann n Kaya. Unluckily, there was no green piste in Les ARC. So there were forced to practice in blue piste. For your info, the piste levels are green - blue - red - black.
At night, the other 3 felt pain all over the body, Kaya and Dann understandable lar, kept falling ma. Alik 你凑什么热闹?Scenery outside our hotel room.

Day 4:
Christmas day. It was snowing in the morning, and it was my 1st white Christmas. Me and lik decided to go to discover ARC 1800(1800 m). We found an ideal place for Dann and Kaya to practice. So here we go.

Day 5:Wei, even if we're in France, don't do this in the puclic ler...

Last day of ski, Dann can already do "S" in the blue piste, but Kaya, u really need to Gambatte ler, haha, don't worry, next ski trip will be better. Me and Lik decided to challenge ARC 2000. The weather on top of the mountain was really extreme. The wind was strong and it was damned cold. We arrived at ARC 2000 but we didn't make up to the top 'cause the weather condition was really unbearable. I found great improvement in my skiing skill 'cause i didn't fall even once on the way down from ARC 2000. Tired, we stopped there ended this very fun ski trip.
We took night train to go back Paris. But before this, we had a buffet dinner. We have wanted to eat this since the 1st day but it was closed for Christmas. Luckily it was opened that day, or else we would break the its glasses.

Day 6:
Visited the damned cold Paris with our luggage and bags. Notre Dame - KFC - Louvre - Champs Elysées.Air SoonLee. Alik ur shooting skill not bad har.

Holiday

Finally on holidays. Actually i can say that my holidays started on Wednesday because i didn't have class yesterday and i only had 1.5 hrs class this morning. Alik, kaya and Dann are coming next week, we're going to SKI!!! So i took some time to go Decathlon to buy things that I'd need for ski. I said some time, but it actually took me 2 hours. And of course my pocket has got a big whole now.

Christmas is around the corner, all towns in France are decorated with colourful light decoration and so is Laval, and the decoration in Laval is one of the most beautiful i have ever seen, although it's just a small town. I purposely brought my camera so that i can take some picture of the beautiful Christmas decoration.

I'm not sure but i guess this year's theme is pyramids since there are pyramids of different colours and sizes all over.

Airbus Visit

Have been quite busy recently, so didn't update my blog for quite some time. Just visited the Airbus site in Saint Nazaire last Thurday, it was a one day trip organized by the Flying West association of ESTACA. This is my second visit to an Airbus site, last year i visited the one in Toulouse. But since each site is specialized in only certain parts of an Airbus plane, you can always see different things.

For your information, the largest passenger airliner in the world, A380 is an Airbus. 1 A380 has its different parts made in UK, Germany, Spain and France. All parts are then delivered to Toulouse to be assembled. A bit disappointed in my last visit to the site in Toulouse because we were only allowed to see the planes form far and were seperated by glasses. The visit to Saint Nazaire allowed me to approach and even touch a real A380, even though we only had a part of the A380 fuselage in this site. You really cant imagine how big the thing is and it's amazing that this thing can fly in the sky, i love aeronautics.

We were quite lucky that day because we have got the chance to see a real Beluga, which had just finished unloading parts to the site. The flight used by Airbus the deliver aircraft parts from site to site. Here is and image of it, its head let me think of the famous flower horn, lol...Why i said we were lucky? Because there are only 5 Belugas in the world, and you don't see them in normal airports.
What a pity, no photos are allowed in the site compound, if not i can share some of them with you. Nyway, i just simply took a few photos inside the bus, just not to waste my efford of bringing my camera, LOL...

And guess what, coincidently the son of the lady who showed us around is going to study in Kuala Lumpur for 6 months in 2 weeks time. She was so worry and she asked me a lot of questions like "What is the weather in Malaysia?", "Will we have any problem if we don't know Malay" etc...Haha, finally i gave her my email so that his son can contact me if he has any question.

This visit make me feel wanna do an internship in Airbus this summer, but the problem is that the places are limited and it's hard to get. Moreover, i haven't started to search for informations about the application. AIRBUS, open your door and wait for me!!!

Forbidden Love

After exam, super free, what to do? Watch drama lor. To make sure i can finish it in 2 days, i chose 1 with only 11 episodes. It's a Japanese drama named "魔女の条件" or "Forbidden love" in English. It's a story about a young and pretty high school teacher(Michi) who falls in love with one of his students(Hikaru). Because of the eastern culture and the abnormality of the love, it's forbidden by the school and the parents of both sides. Michi is then forced to resign from the school and is despised by the people around her. But the two lovers are so deep in love that nothing can break 'em.

Michi has the child of Hikaru, but due to some accident, she has to abort the child or else she will put her life in danger. She, of course, wouldn't want to do that, even if she dies. The determination of the pair finally touches their parents. And the ending of the story is too too beautiful. Michi who has been losing consciousness for 1 month because of losing too much blood due to her miscarriage, finally wakes up, with Hikaru by his side. Yeah, happy ending.

I do get some moral from this drama: do what you think is right to do and which can lead you to happiness and do not care about what others think about you, no matter in your love, carrier or whatsoever.

Guess what, the theme song of this drama is "First Love" by Utada Hikaru, haha, like this song even more now. I strongly recommend you to watch it if you have the chance, i bet i won't regret to watch it.

Not in post exam mood

Finally my 2nd year 1st exam came to an end today. Happiness is not in me as usual this time, because i've done quite badly. Except for Mathematics which i think i've performed "normally", and i hope this is the case, i've no confidence at all in all other subjects. Especially in Fluid Mechanics and Strength of Materials, i was like a dumb ass sitting in the exam hall. I read the questions over and over again, but just couldn't find the solutions. The feeling is so horrible.

In the afternoon, i went to cut hair, to see if it can change my mood as shown in movies. The result is not bad and my mood turned a bit better immediately, and this is why you still see this post.

Conclusion : When you're in bad mood, go cut hair, but find a good saloon, or else it can only make your mood wore, lol...

Anyway i'll have a quiet weekend, gotta enjoy it before works come (already i know that we're going to start a C programming project next week). Haih, as i say, c'est la vie...

Our brain is programmed

In ESTACA we not only learn to be an engineer, we have a class called "Connaissance de soi"(Self knowing). At 1st i found it very boring but since the class i had last week, i started to find the interesting part of it.

We talked about the human brain is programmed just like a computer. How a baby learns to walk? By programming his brain to synchronise his leg's movement. Another exemple is our mother tongue, which you can hardly forget it because they are programmed in your brain since you're small. I know this best because 2 months in Malaysia can make me forget my French but 1 year in France cant make me forget my Chinese. And there are a lot other exemples. Things that you don't do very often will be hard for you because your brain is not programmed to do it.

The prof showed us an image, which i've seen already so i was not tricked. It's an optical illusion image. Some people see a young woman while some see an old lady. Of course, i saw both, cause i said i've seen the picture before. What we see is normally what we used to see or what we always have in our mind.

I opened my window shutter this morning, i saw things falling from the sky. Rain was my 1st guess cause it rarely snows in the region where i stay. But to my surprise, it was snowing, or it is snowing(until now). No wonder it was cool when i went out yesterday. It is snowing, which means that the winter is coming too, oh nooo...

Holidays

I have started my short short 1 week holidays last Saturday. It is the french 清明节, so all school in France got 1 or 1.5 week off. All my friends are back to home, sien. But i can finally get some rest. Although the timetable of this year is less packed than last year, but it's quite tiring to need to get up at 7 everyday in the morning. I like to 赖床!! And now is the chance!

Yesterday(Sunday) when i woke up, i looked at my alarm clock, WTF...12 o'clock!!! It was not normal 'cause normally i 赖 until 11 only and i will automatically wake up. Later on, i turned on my laptop, which has its time synchronized to internet time. It was 1 hour earlier than my watches and clock. Then i only realized that it was actually the day we changed back to normal time from daylight saving time. We have to set the clock back to 1 hour on this day, or more easily said, we gain 1 hour on this day.(see at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time). It means that i woke up at 11 o'clock yesterday as usual, my body is synchronized to internet time?!?! Lol...

Btw, i put on my braces last Tuesday, and now i'm having hard time to eat. I have to cut everything into small pieces before put them into my mouth. And it is very uncomfortable as well, can't believe that i have to wear it for 2 years :'( But the good thing is that my braces are made of ceramic, they have the teeth colour so they are not too obvious. Why luckily? Because if not later sure got people call me 钢牙1...

Ski Trip Planned

Yeah, finally i got the ski trip planned. Everything is booked and now we can go ski!!! Btw, i hate planning things, so troublesome, need to check so many things. I think i've spent at least 6 hours on internet, pity my poor eyes. So Kaya, Lik and Dann, u all owe me 1 meal har, lol...

Btw quite excited, can go ski again!!! I wanna see Kaya and Dann fall down, since they are beginner, so be ready u 2. But with me as your teacher i think u will learn very fast 1, lol...Hope everything wili go as in the plan, later.

I have been quite busy+lazy over the last 2 weeks, so my poor blog was abandoned for some time.
Busy - Rushing my internship report and preparing my 1st maths test.
Lazy - No explanation...
I am addicted again with the stupid dota, 'cause i found a software which allow me to play with players around the world. This is also 1 of the reasons why i haven't updatd my blog for 2 weeks. Sien lo, when i'm studying right, my fingers will suddenly feel itchy, then i have to play 1 game b4 continuing my revision. My doctor friends, do you have a medicin to treat this symptom? Lol...

Some update about me for my fans, since you all are so eager about it, LOL...I'm undergoing treatment for my broken teeth result of the pnuemothorax, i need to put braces for two years!!! Sien...The treatment is not covered by the social security in France, so my pocket will be quite KOSONG in these two years, 'cause the treatment is very expensive in France. I don't realy feel like having this treatment cause i'll face difficulty to eat during these 2 years, but what to do? C'est la vie...

Japanese class in ESTACA

I received a mail from a 3rd year french born japanese yesterday, who is seeking for people interested in learning the Japanese. If we can form a small group of at least 10 people, then we can have Japanese class in the school. Wheew! I want to learn japanese since a long time, but b4 this my school only proposes chinese, spanish and german as 2nd language. No choice, i picked spanish.

Reply from the 3rd year this afternoon, we now have 22 positive replies, and there are more to come, which means it's quite possible that we'll have japanese class in ESTACA this year! Now we wait the school administration to contact the jap prof and insert classes in the timetable. Let's hope that we can start it asap, so that i can watch One Piece without subtitle, understand Ayumi's songs etc...

ESTACA Integration Day

The last thursday was ESTACA's Integration Day for the 1st years. This is a day full of fun. 1st, all 1st year students must dress up themselves into Peter Pan. This year's theme was better cause the theme of my year was chick...Then we got a lot of activities and games. As a 2nd year student, this year i can play on those "bizuts"(1st year students in french). We've got a lot of things like shaving mousse, detergent etc to make those bizuts as dirty as possible, but we got dirty as well, this is the principe of action and reaction i learn in Physics, lol.

A tradition during the ESTACA Integration Day - Car making and racing. Basically the bizuts will be divided into teams, they need to make a "car" with whatever they can find and race with their car. This year, i really saw some nice works, good job bizuts.

We've got a barbeque and motorcycle stun show afterwards. The performers invited were really great, and it's quite amusing to see those stuns with your own eyes. So here are some photos and video of the day.

As i said i decided to be more active in sport this year. So i went to play basketball yesterday afternoon with my classmates. At first it was quite fun and i was the 1st to score. But later on, i had a crash on the ground in order to save the ball. Damn, scratched my shoulder, legs and worst of all my chin!! And i hurt my right palm also in the fall, feel pain when i grip my palm. So no more basketball for some days, go study!

Yea speaking of study, i had a few classes yesterday and today. OMG, i was like an idiot copying things that i didn't understand. But luckily, not only me, most of my friends were like that too. And this is only the beginning, #@&*%$§...

School reopen

So yesterday i FINALLY returned to shool, sound like i looked for it but actuall not at all. Schedule:

10 - 11.30 a.m : Informations

WTF, first day we already had a 3 hour continuous class. Hello, i have just fnished a 2.5 month holidays ok, relax a bit! Tried my very best to concentrate in the class, sometimes my mind voyaged back to Malaysia, or to places other than the class. OMG, what a tough start. And i realised also that i've forgotten quite a lot of things after the holidays.

Went to play basketball in the evening, i've decided to do more sport this year, to keep fit, lol. But i wonder how long can this last, since the weather turns cooler each day. And it rains the whole day today, cant't even go out...

At night, lazy to open book, let's keep the pace slow, it was only the first day. So i switched on the tv, emm...my laptop with tv card actually. Many nice shows, watched Karate Kid, a film i quite like. and Ring(贞子), which i only watched halfway and i ZZzzzz....Didn't see the 贞子 climb out from the tv. Haha, if not maybe i can't even sleep at night, lol...

So my school reopen day ended like that, next week is the orientation week, sud have some fun. Wait and see how we play those first year students. Hahaha!!!

Msia Holidays Part 3 + Back In Fance

Okie, so here i'm, back in France. There weren't many things going on in part 3, all we did were playing basketball, badminton, bowling, dota...Haha, so no picture no pictures to be updated, except for pics of my farewell, here it is, 1 of 'em.

2nd year is going to start soon, haih, a bit "sien" thinking of what i'm gonna face after relaxing for 2.5 months. Before the sch starts i already started to think of when sud i go back next summer, lol...But it's not sure that i can go back 'cos i need to do my internship in France, God bless that i can find 1 which allows me to go back a while.

Luckily, the journey going back to France is much more smoother than going back to Malaysia. No Flight delay, no missing luggage. So MAS isn't that bad as i said after all. LOL...Amazing, after 12 flight, i wasn't that that tired as always. Arrived at CDG airport at 6.30 am, went to Paris Montparnasse train station to take my train to go back and reached home at 1pm. After calling home and had Maggi lunch, i went directly to Carrefour to buy food, don't expect me to eat Maggi everyday. And that's not all, gotta unpack my luggage and tidy up my room 1st. But sure, at night, i've got a very nice sleep.

1 week before sch starts, but there's a lot of things to be done. Bills to pay, internship reports to wite...ohhh! I miss my holidays!!

Malaysia Holidays Part 2 - KL Trip

Tadaaa...Part 2 is out. This time i went to Kuala Lumpur. Spent 5 days there, stayed in a hotel call Alik's house, and we got a Mercedes with a lousy GPS system to go out, cool isn't it? Overall the trip was fun, went to a few different places, but too bad Fong Yeng you were not with us, or else we'd have more fun...Nvm, got photos for you.

1st day : Sunway Pyramid
We went to ice skating. Beh and Lik, i won you 2 for this time, haha!! Bully me in Dota lar...But since malaysia is hot, the ice melted very fast, and after a while the floor's no more "skatable".Group photo before going out. Woah, i so tall 1? Ah Beh, don't act cute, not cute at all...Lol...Our dinner - BBQ. Oishi! (not Ko-Yi-Si, pronouce properly) In front of Sunway Lagoon. The background isn't bad, but can't see my handsome face clearly leh...

2nd day : Genting 1 day trip

9 jul, my first year school result is supposed to come out today. A bit worry, i checked the school website before updating this blog, but the result wasn't there yet. If not pass then i have to resit for 1 year, which means another year wasted, i don't want!!!

Sorry for not posting for quite some time. Feeling a bit lazy to post new blog because i'm not used to the tortoise broadband speed at my home. And plus my modem a bit siao siao d, suka suka disconnect...

So i started my internship in a car workshop last Monday, hmmm...actually a bit sien there, cause nothing much i can do. So most of the time i only see, and Friday i broke the record, i see they do their job for the whole day. The boss said that i go n see can already, no need to do, cause some works are for the workers not for engineers...Za4 dao4...But see also can learn things, like parts inside a car engine, different car suspensions etc. But if can do i think i won't feel that boring...Still 7 weeks to go, hope the boss will find me some work, or else after 7 weeks i'm gonna become a real SEE FU, lol...

MAS <=> Malaysia Airlines Suck

Finally, thank to God, i'm back safely to Malaysia. But it was really an unpleasant journey. Take Malaysia Airlines as always, direct flight, easier. But troubles kept coming since Paris. 1st, the depart from Paris to Kuala Lumpur was delayed for about 2 hours due to some technical problems of charging the passengers' luggages. Well, nvm, i wait. So finally, we departed, bye bye France, see you in 2.5 months.

After reaching at KLIA, i went to claim my luggage, i waited until hua1 er2 ye3 xie4 liao3. After 50 minutes, i haven't seen my luggage yet. Then i saw a lady with a walkie-talkie on her hand. "Passenger from Paris who hasn't got his luggage, please come here". I told myself that:"Well, finish d, sure lost liao!" As i expected, the luggage didn't arrive at KLIA. I think maybe it's still in Charles de Gaulle airport, or maybe sent to another country if it's worse.

The story didn't end here. In KLIA, i had to take a flight from KL to JB, the flight was scheduled to depart at 1050, when we're about to take off, an announcement said that there was some technical problems and we had to delay the flight. "What? Again?" Finally, after waiting for 2 hours, the engineers were unable to solve the problems. So we had to change a flight which was supposed to fly to Kuantan at 1455.

Now my excitement for coming back to Malaysia is spoilt. What a bad experience with MAS, i think next year when i come back to Malaysia i will think twice which airline to take.

Finger crossed, hope that they can find my lost luggage...

Parties & holidays

Finally i'm on holidays. The last paper was on Friday morning. At noon, we already started the party. 1st is to celebrate the end of the exam and the beginning of the holidays; 2nd is to celebrate the birthday of my friend Renaud. Party in France of course must have alcohol. Tadaaa...We got Dubonnet, Muscat, Pineau, Calvados, Byrrh, Saint Raphaël...and some i don't know the name.

In the evening, we had another BBQ party but in school. It was free, so don't expect too many things to eat. And we only got beer and coca-cola. Never mind, since it was free. Don't drive if you drink, so we walked back home after the party. I must admit that i was a bit drunk because it was a bit hard to keep walking straight, but my friend was worse, n'est-ce pas, Mathieu?

The next day, i went to Nantes for another friend, Mathieu's birthday party. This is the first time i go to a french friend's birthday. His parents were out, so the house was ours and we could do anything we wanted to. Mathieu then opened some wine from his father's wine cellar. 1 word, GOOD. I don't know how much i've drunk again, but around 2 o'clock, my head was quite dizzy already. I WANT TO SLEEP! 2 night party is really quite tiring.

So the parties are over, i say au revoir to all my friends, hope can see you all after the summer in the same class, because my those with result under the average must resit 1 year, and if your result is too much below the average then byebye.

The feeling of holidaying is really great, no need to worry about the homework and project to be finished, no need to revise for exam, and no need to wake up early. And two more days, i'm going back to Malaysia after two more days. Liping, u're right, a bit shuang3 lo. Lol...

K la, wanna go and tidy up my messy house before going back.

Recovering

Sorry for not updating my blog for quite sometime. 1st is because i'm not feeling very well lately(cf last blog), 2nd is because i'm quite busy(cf 3nd last blog). Handed my my CAD project this afternoon. Kinda proud of myself cause in fact it was a project of 3 persons. There are 4 persons in my group, however i ended up finishing the project alone because my other group members are leaving the school next year, so they didn't care. Even though it's not perfect, but other group have 2 more head and 4 more hands than me, so i consider my work not bad. But it's not holidays yet. Final exam on Monday, 1st subject - Maths. Usually at this time, i have already at least read all the notes once. But thanks to the pneumothorax and the project, i haven't started any of my revision.

Start to feel better these few days, but still can get tired quite easily. Removed all my stitches of my operation yesterday. I saw one of the thread used, woah! So thick! I received also a report from the hospital, well, i don't understand everything mentioned and am lazy to search in the dictionary. Too many medical terms in FRENCH. But among those i understood is that i've lost more 1.5L blood in the whole process. Knowing that a normal people only has 5L blood...

Another funny thing is that i got a wound in my finger and had a few stitches when i was little. When i went to remove the stiches, it pained like hell. So i was quite afraid when i went to remove them this time. But in the contrary, i didn't feel anything, except when removing the THICK thread, it hurts a bit. I think the doctor in Malaysia who sewed up my wound must have made kinda bizarre knots.

And finally i want to thank the doctors and nurses who took care of me even though i know that they won't see this. Doctor is really a great profession, can save people. I only can save machines. So to all my future doctor friends, study hard now and become a good doctor in the future. I think i don't have friend who is gonna become nurse, well their role is not less important than doctors'. Especially pretty nurses, haha, they can motivate patients...

pneumothorax

Got a pneumothorax or collapsed lung in the Thursday afternoon. Sudden difficulty to breathe, lack of oxygen and fell down unconciously. I fell down on my chin and broke a few teeth. So now i can't eat any thing that needs chewing. After an operation and being hospitalized for four days, i was discharged yeasterday noon. Everything came so suddenly and i was really shocked. Still feeling very weak now, so stop here 1st.

Will update my blog when i get better.
